No worries! We love introducing women to their first adventure. We'll make sure you feel comfortable and prepared every step of the way. The only problem is…you might find yourself hooked on adventure travel!
Our trips are designed for women of all kinds—single, married, moms, professionals, artists, athletes, you name it! We attract adventurous spirits who love the outdoors and enjoy meeting new people. We come from all walks of life, making every trip a rich tapestry of experiences and stories.
Age is just a number! If you feel young at heart and love adventure, you're perfect for our trips. Our groups typically range from 20 to 50 years old, but everyone's welcome.
Absolutely! Many of our travelers come solo and leave with lifelong friends. We don’t charge single supplement fees; so we’ll pair you with another solo traveler. If you prefer some alone time, single room upgrades are usually available.
You don't need to be a super athlete, but a good fitness level helps you enjoy the trip more. Each adventure has specific fitness requirements detailed on its page. Many women use our trips as motivation to get back in shape. And remember, our trips are about balance—plenty of adventure mixed with relaxation and fun.
Not at all! Our yoga sessions are for all levels. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a newbie, our instructors cater to everyone. Yoga with Locas Only is about connecting mind, body, and spirit—no need to be a pro!
We keep our groups small and intimate, usually between 10-16 women, including guides. This way, you get a personalized experience and build deeper connections with your fellow travelers. Benefits of Small Group Travel:
Personalized experiences
Easier logistics
Stronger connections with fellow travelers
Greater flexibility and adaptability
We aim to accommodate dietary needs, though some limitations may apply. Detail your requirements on the registration form and we'll do our best to cater to your needs. We can usually handle vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets.

In general, tips are not included in the price. And, although tipping is not mandatory, it is sort of expected depending on the destination that you are going to (and very appreciated by the staff!).
Specific tipping guidelines will be provided for each trip under the “Gratuities & Tipping” section on each adventure page.
Prices are based on twin-share accommodations. We'll pair you with another solo Loca traveler unless you're traveling with someone already.
Yes, if available.
Single room upgrades are detailed on each trip page and are first come, first serve. Some trips may have partial upgrade options due to accommodation types.
For example, in our Peru Adventure, you might choose to upgrade to a single room in Cusco & The Sacred Valley, but that won't apply to the Inca Trail where you will be sleeping in a tent with another traveler.
Yes, you do! Travel insurance is mandatory for all our trips. It protects you against the unexpected and is a crucial part of your travel planning. Please refer to our section “Travel Insurance” for more information on this topic.
